The Alpha Foundation has served Southern Maryland since 2020. Our Foundation provides annual scholarships to students who may be under-resourced to meet the expenses of college tuition, textbooks, and other materials increasing the challenges of college life. As a nonprofit organization, the Alpha Foundation of Southern Maryland does not profit from any funds raised to help college students. Funds raised through the Foundation are used to support our main goal, to help students go to college. Our vision is clear: we raise money for academic scholarships and provide financial support to those who have a need. The Alpha Foundation of Southern Maryland is identified by the Internal Revenue Service Code as a 501(c)(3) organization, which means donors who make charitable contributions to our Foundation may be entitled to tax deductions to the extent allowed by current federal law.
